Who I am

This portfolio (UX Meas Portfolio, hosted at uxmeas.com) is run by Pheak Meas, an independent product designer based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I am the data controller for any data processed through this site.

What I collect

This portfolio collects minimal data. Analytics tools help me understand how visitors interact with the site. With your consent, this includes:

• Pages visited and time on each page
• Device type and browser
• Approximate geographic region (city / country level)
• Referral source (which site or search you arrived from)
• Session replays and heatmaps (Microsoft Clarity)

No personally identifiable information is collected. IP addresses are anonymized in Google Analytics 4 by default.

What I don't collect

• I don't collect names, email addresses, or personal information unless you explicitly send me an email
• I don't run advertising trackers
• I don't sell or share visitor data with third parties beyond the analytics processors listed below
• I don't run user accounts on this portfolio — there's nothing to log into

Cookies

This portfolio uses only analytics cookies, and only after you grant consent via the cookie banner. See the Cookie Policy for the full list, retention windows, and how to withdraw consent.

Third-party services I use

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — Usage analytics. Loaded only after analytics consent is granted. Google's Privacy Policy
• Microsoft Clarity — Session replay and heatmaps to understand UX issues. Loaded only after analytics consent. Microsoft's Privacy Statement
• Google Fonts — Web font delivery (Space Grotesk, Space Mono). No cookies are set by this service.
• Cloudflare Pages — Hosting and CDN. Cloudflare's Privacy Policy

Data retention

Google Analytics 4 data is retained for 14 months, then automatically deleted. Microsoft Clarity session recordings are retained per Microsoft's defaults (typically 30 days). I do not maintain any separate databases or user records.

Your rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Access the data held about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a regulator (Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, your EU member state's DPA, or your state Attorney General)

You can manage your analytics consent at any time using the cookie banner at the bottom of the page, or by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer. Declining will prevent GA4 and Microsoft Clarity from loading.

International transfers

Google and Microsoft are US-based; analytics data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Both companies maintain Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for EU/EEA → US transfers under GDPR.

Children's privacy

This portfolio is a general-audience site intended for adult visitors (recruiters, hiring managers, designers, founders). I do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the change. Substantive changes will be summarized below this paragraph for 30 days after they take effect.
